We consider the fully closed position, with the burrs touching, to be zero. Our recommended settings below are measured in clicks from zero.
Espresso: 3-4 clicks
Pourover / Filter methods: 7-8 clicks
Aeropress: 6-8 clicks
French press / plunger: 10-12 clicks.
These settings should also be suitable for CERA grinders.
