For most customers, choosing a hand grinder may come down to budget. Even if you don’t have a lot of money to spend, our less expensive products like the CERA and Porlex grinders are very effective and durable. CERA and Porlex grinders are also the most portable of our range.
If your budget allows, you’ll find that higher end grinders (LIDO, ROK) offer improved consistency, better materials, better ergonomics, and in most cases they’re more aesthetically pleasing. These grinders also tend to be bigger and heavier and so while portable, may not suit folks who need to travel light.
All of our grinders including CERA, Porlex, LIDO 2, LIDO 3, and ROK, are effective for all brewing methods in grind ranges from fine to coarse. The LIDO E grinder, while capable of grinding for methods requiring coarser settings, is specifically designed for espresso.
